Our Team
Built by practitioners,
not just founders.
Every person on this team has worked directly with families navigating difficult property situations — as attorneys, advisors, operators, or technologists. That experience shapes everything about how we work.
Executive Leadership
Oliver co-founded Residios after spending a decade at McKinsey & Company's global real estate practice, where he led restructuring engagements for distressed property portfolios across the United States and Central Europe. He holds an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau) and a degree in civil engineering from TU München.
Before Residios, he built and sold two proptech companies in the DACH region — one focused on distressed-asset valuation for institutional lenders, the other a servicer workflow platform used across Germany and Austria. He moved to Baltimore in 2018 specifically to study the Maryland residential distressed market, which he describes as one of the most structurally underserved in the country.
His operating philosophy: every family deserves the same quality of advice that institutional investors take for granted. The gap is information and access, not complexity.
Eleanor practiced real estate and consumer protection law for eighteen years before co-founding Residios, representing homeowners in foreclosure, partition actions, and estate disputes across Maryland and Virginia. She clerked for the Maryland Court of Special Appeals before entering private practice and was named a Maryland Super Lawyer seven consecutive years.
She left practice after noticing the same pattern repeatedly: families were making permanent financial decisions — signing deeds, accepting cash offers, agreeing to short sales — without understanding what the alternatives were. The legal system gave them rights but not information. She designed Residios's advisory model to close that gap without crossing the practice-of-law line.
Eleanor is a graduate of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford (Jurisprudence) and the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She sits on the Maryland Legal Services Corporation board.
Senior Leadership
Camille Beaumont
Chief Operating Officer
Washington, D.C.
Seventeen years in operations leadership across real estate services and luxury hospitality before joining Residios. Previously COO of a European luxury residential advisory firm with offices in Paris, Lisbon, and London, and before that a senior director at Groupe Galeries Lafayette's real estate division. Holds a Grande École degree from HEC Paris. Obsessively focused on service quality at scale and the moments in an advisory process where institutional behavior most often fails ordinary families.
Marcus Johansson
Chief Technology Officer
Remote — Malmö, Sweden
Led engineering at Hemnet, Sweden's dominant property search platform, through a period of significant product transformation and a successful IPO on Nasdaq Stockholm. Before that, VP Engineering at Lantmäteriet (Sweden's National Land Survey) and an early engineer at King (Candy Crush). Studies in computer science and data systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Builds tools for the families who interact with them — not for operators who never will.
Ingrid Voss
General Counsel
Baltimore, Maryland
Twelve years in real estate finance law at Clifford Chance Amsterdam and a subsequent six years at a Maryland boutique specializing in consumer protection and regulatory compliance. Advises Residios on compliance architecture across all fifty states, with particular focus on MARS Rule applicability, Maryland Protection of Homeowners in Foreclosure Act, and the precise boundary between advisory services and the practice of law. Leiden University (LL.M.), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (LL.B.).
Ananya Krishnan
VP Data & Analytics
Remote — Bangalore / Washington D.C.
Five years on the Zillow data science team building AVM (automated valuation model) infrastructure at scale, followed by a senior research role at the Urban Institute's Housing Finance Policy Center studying distressed property market dynamics. Her work at Residios focuses on the valuation layer of the Home Transition Review — making market-value opinions more accurate and explainable for families who aren't real estate professionals. IIT Bombay (B.Tech., Statistics), Carnegie Mellon (M.S., Machine Learning).
Tomás Ferreira
VP Partnerships & Business Development
Washington, D.C.
Built CBRE's mid-Atlantic institutional relationships team over nine years before joining the advisory side of real estate. His focus at Residios is the partner network — estate-planning and elder-law attorneys, probate courts, CPAs, and housing counselors who refer families at the earliest and most critical moments. Previously co-founded a real estate advisory cooperative serving Portuguese-speaking immigrant communities in the DMV area. Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Economics), Georgetown McDonough (MBA).
Chidera Okafor
Director of Client Experience
Baltimore, Maryland
Ten years directing client services at Baltimore-based housing and foreclosure-prevention nonprofits, including four years as program director at a HUD-approved housing counseling agency serving Baltimore City. She joined Residios because the advisory model matched what her counseling clients always needed but the nonprofit funding structure couldn't provide: time, depth, and written options before any pressure to decide. University of Lagos (Economics), University of Maryland Baltimore County (M.S., Social Work).
Sofia Marchetti
Head of Marketing & Brand
Remote — Milan / Washington D.C.
Led marketing and communications for Knight Frank's Italian residential practice and subsequently for a pan-European luxury residential developer. She joined Residios to apply high-trust brand-building methods to a sector — distressed and transitional residential — that has never had honest marketing as a competitive differentiator. Her mandate is simple: say exactly what the product does, make the disclaimers visible, and never create urgency the service doesn't actually have. Università Bocconi (Marketing & Communications).
James Calloway
Head of Maryland Operations
Baltimore, Maryland
Eight years in the Maryland State Attorney's Office followed by four years as a licensed Maryland real estate professional specializing in estate and probate sales. James manages the operational side of every Home Transition Review produced in Maryland — review quality, timeline adherence, and professional referral routing. He knows the Maryland probate courts, foreclosure dockets, and county tax-sale processes by jurisdiction. University of Maryland (Political Science), University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D.).

"This team was assembled around a single question: what would the advisory process look like if it was designed entirely around the family's interests — not the operator's, not the institution's? Every hire since has been an answer to that question."
— Oliver Hartmann, Co-Founder & CEO
We hire for depth, not speed.
Residios grows slowly and deliberately. We add a person when a gap in the advisory process demands it — not to fill a headcount target. If you've worked directly with families navigating distressed property situations and want to do it at a different standard of care, we'd like to talk.
Ready to talk to us directly?
A Home Transition Review is a free, no-obligation conversation about your situation and every option available to you — in writing, before you commit to anything.
