Absentee Owner
Someone who owns a property they don't live in, flagged when the owner's mailing address differs from the property address. The most heavily prospected owner profile in distressed real estate.
An absentee owner of a vacant, high-equity property is at the intersection of every investor lead-generation signal: high equity, no one home to notice contact, carrying costs with no benefit, and an owner who may not be monitoring the property closely. This combination makes absentee owners the most systematically targeted group in the field.
